Item-Driven Fishing — Rods and the fish journal are usable items. No chat commands required.
Custom Cast Animation — Custom-made throwing animation streamed with the resource.
15 Fish Prop Models — 9 species: salmon, tuna, flounder, barramundi, bighead carp, codfish, crucian carp, perch, and tolstolobik. Salmon, tuna, and flounder include size variants.
Trash Catches — Catch old boots and other junk from the water.
3 Fishing Rods — Worn, standard, and pro rods, each with different cast ranges, keep chances, trash odds, minigame difficulty, and loot weights.
3 Baits — Worm, lure, and live bait. Baits are automatically selected by priority and affect bite wait times, keep chances, trash odds, fight difficulty, and loot.
Physics-Based Casting — Hold to charge cast power, then throw the hook into the water using rope physics.
Custom Fishing Hook — Streamed hook prop attached to the fishing line.
Wait & Cancel — Press X to pull the line back while waiting for a bite.
Bite Window — Timed opportunity to hook the fish before the fight begins.
Reel Minigame — Keep the bar on the fish to reel it in. Difficulty stacks based on rod, bait, and species.
Catch & Collect — Pull the fish or trash out of the water, then collect it into your inventory.
Server-Authoritative Loot — Zone-based loot rolls and server-validated tokens prevent clients from choosing their own catches.
Fishing Spots — Polygon and sphere zones with individual fish loot tables and map blips.
Fish Journal — Flip-book UI featuring fish photos, with discovered species saved per player.
Traders — Local peds featuring ox_inventory shops for purchasing gear, personal stashes, and fish selling for cash.
Config-First Design — Rods, baits, fishing spots, traders, and fish are configured in separate files.
Framework Support — ESX, QB-Core, and QBox through usable-item registration.
ox Stack Integration — Built around ox_lib, ox_inventory, and ox_target.
